Position Overview: Manager, Commercialization Strategy
The Manager, Commercialization Strategy will play a critical role in driving the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of programs consisting of multiple related projects, with a strong emphasis on commercializing Capricor’s therapeutic products for global markets. This versatile role requires balancing program oversight, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Reporting to the Director of Program Strategy and Management, the Program Manager will serve as a key liaison between project teams and senior leadership, providing visibility into program performance, risks, and commercial outcomes. This position combines strategic commercial expertise with robust program management skills, focusing on market-ready drugs, international market entry, and long-range planning.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and Manage Program and Commercial Plans: Create and oversee comprehensive program plans, timelines, and schedules that encompass multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and commercial objectives, including international market entry.
• Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Lead collaboration across departments such as R&D, operations, regulatory, finance (e.g., Cost of Goods Sold analysis), and commercial teams to execute program deliverables seamlessly.
• Track Program and Project Performance: Monitor key milestones, deliverables, risks, and metrics across multiple projects within the program, ensuring timely completion and identifying areas for improvement.
• Communicate Progress and Insights: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on program status, commercial progress, risks, and successes through reports, slide decks, and presentations. Offer actionable insights for corrective actions or enhancements.
• Mitigate Risks and Resolve Issues: Proactively identify program-level and commercial risks, working with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and resolve challenges spanning multiple projects.
• Drive Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior management to ensure program and commercial objectives align with broader company goals, contributing to early-stage strategy discussions and long-term planning.
• Enhance Processes and Documentation: Support the development of best practices, standardized processes, and tools for program and commercial operations. Prepare and maintain clear, concise program documentation, including reports and presentations.
• Facilitate Collaboration and Meetings: Take discussion notes, develop slide decks, assemble documents, and coordinate meetings to ensure effective communication and follow-through on action items.
• Provide Operational Support: Offer administrative assistance to senior leadership as needed to support program and commercial execution; including scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.
Requirements:
• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in commercial operations within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in program management or a related field will also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential.
• Commercial Drug Expertise: Proven experience with market-ready (commercialized) drugs, as opposed to R&D-focused projects.
• International Experience: Preferred experience in international market entry, including familiarity with global regulatory requirements and approvals.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint).
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and record-keeping, with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and competing demands simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-Motivation: Results-oriented with strong initiative, independence, and follow-through, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Work Arrangement: Primarily remote with an expectation of being onsite at least one day per week, with occasional travel to support team delivery, commercial initiatives, and international coordination.

• This role is offered as a primarily remote position, with occasional travel required based on business needs.
• Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
