What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Leader position at Capriotti's Sandwich Shop?
Must be available weekends and holidays. We offer daily tips, weekly pay and employee meals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of employees during assigned shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with training and development of new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant or hotel
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Use Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles and practices
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
