General Summary:
- Responsible for electronic recordkeeping, and timely billing
- Monitor MESAV to ensure service and funding is available
- Monitor and communicate with vendors concerning submitted paperwork and ensure billing issues are addressed timely.
- Follow and document all billing issues with all Vendors to prevent financial loss.
Job Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow instructions; must be able to speak and understand the English language. Ability to learn, manage, and ensure regulatory compliance of various health programs. Be familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Requires a valid Texas driver’s license.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Texas driver's license. Must be over the age of 18yrs old. Must be able to pass background check.
General:
The CLASS Corporate Biller promotes the financial security of each CHHS participant ensuring services are approved as authorized on the MESAV and Individual Plan of Care. The billing Position ensures compliance for CHHS according to the CLASS program regulations and requirements, and state and federal regulations. A Biller will be responsible for supporting office staff in documentation, recordkeeping, and billing. A Corporate Biller will document and provide oversight of the documentation of all services as required, assure services are billed timely, and assure compliance of personnel with the policies and objectives of the Agency. Position can be called upon to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical:
Must be able to communicate verbally, use a keyboard, sit for long periods of time. Must be able to get in and out of a car, and to drive a car to pick up and drop off paperwork. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Education, Training, and Professional Credentials: Prefer experience with TMHP, Medicare/Medicaid but not required.
Experience: Prefer experience in billing Medicare, Medicaid and/or medical insurance.
