We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all employees of the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and positive presence in the workplace.
An Office Assistant candidate should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. An Office Assistant must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, an Office Assistant should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Cleaning office- tasks such as filing, cleaning (vacuuming and mopping), organizing filing cabinets, wiping surfaces, etc.
- Helping run errands for the office when needed.
- Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone.
- Help to have laundry done by end of day everyday.
- Apply payments to invoices in a timely manner.
- Be able to quickly pull invoices from files for payment.
Office Assistant Requirements:
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Initiative to do more.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends
