At CAPS Collaborative, we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dedicated team of professionals.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who has experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Assist speech and language therapist with non-instructional classroom duties such as supervising classroom routines and preparing materials.
- Provide specialized services as requested by speech and language therapist and consultants.
- Maintain records of therapy sessions as determined by SLP.
- Deliver direct services to students as identified in IEP under supervision of SLP.
- Assist the SLP during assessment of students exclusive of administration and/or interpretation.
Responsibilities:
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparation and implementation of therapy plans.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaboration with the speech and language therapist to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
- State Certification as Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Assistant.
