Reports To:            Chief Information Officer      

 

General Summary

       

Capstone is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Coordinator to join our growing team. This newly created position will play a key role in supporting data collection, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with reporting needs. The primary focus of this role will be on submitting and managing price activations, ensuring timely and accurate implementation across our systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, local to the Asheville/Hendersonville area, and is comfortable working with large datasets.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

This position will directly handle the following responsibilities:

 

Submit, track, and manage price activations to ensure accurate and timely updates.

 

Maintain data integrity by identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors in pricing data.

 

Assist with data collection and validation to support business operations and decision-making.

 

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing updates align with business needs.

 

Support the development of standardized reports and dashboards to monitor key pricing               metrics.

 

Assist with ad hoc data requests and provide insights to improve pricing accuracy and                   efficiency.

 

*   Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to pricing data                management.

 

Knowledge & Skills (Competencies) Required

*    Strong data and analytic skills, with the ability to maintain high data integrity.

*    Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

*    Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

*    Excellent problem-solving skills, including overcoming challenges and demonstrating the               ability to use sound judgement without supervision.

*    Demonstrates openness to new organizational structures, procedures, and technology.

*    Willingness to learn new skills, techniques, change current responsibilities as necessary,               and be open to other ideas.

*    Approaches a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and               considering each part in detail. Identifies features, parameters, or issues important to a                 situation or decision.

 

Computer Skills

*    Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) and experience with data                 management systems. 

*    Ability to quickly learn cloud-based data management systems required for role.

 

Communication Skills

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to interact professionally and work collaboratively with a wide range of                                 professionals, both within and outside of the organization.

*  Good presentation skills.

Ability to explain data and results to groups with different skill levels/understanding,tailoring presentations to different audiences.

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.

*   1-3 years of experience, preferably in a data-related role

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

*      Driver's license required.

 

Work Environment

 

*      Mostly remote / home-based. Local office available and typical to an office environment sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and with a moderate noise level. Occasional overnight travel, as required. 

 

Physical Demands

 

*      Occasionally stands and sits. Sometimes walks and reaches. Frequently talks or listens. Sometimes lifts 10-25 pounds. Closer distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required. Extended exposure to computer monitors and extensive keyboarding required.

 

Additional Information:

*      Must have ability to work independently, and to organize and coordinate multiple activities.           Must work well under pressure of changing priorities and tight deadlines. Remains flexible             and adapts to frequently changing needs of the organization. Establishes priorities and                   maintains workload to ensure timely completion of projects.

*      May involve use of personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).

*      May require early morning or evening work, depending on meetings and events scheduled.
