Location: Rochester, MN/remote
Duration Of Role: 13 weeks
Pay: $31-32p/hour
Hours: 40 hours per week - 8-4:30 CST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Billing Support Specialist performs various clerical, electronic and customer service duties. Team is in charge of billing out claims for our ambulance service. We are a 911 service with multiple locations throughout the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin. We just implemented a new system at the beginning of this month so we would like some assistance with keeping us on track with filtering through some of our correspondence as well as assisting the team with any additional billing tasks that have fallen behind due to the new system change.
Skills:
High school diploma; high level skills in organization, customer service, professionalism, written and oral communication, ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, and be independent in working on your own.
Preferred skills and experience:
Qualified candidates must be customer focused, service oriented and possess strong skills in: team building, communications, decision making, problem solving, interaction, coping and versatility. Knowledge of PC Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel, medical terminology, and Health Quest Systems helpful. Knowledge of Medicare, Medical Assistance and Insurance processes and procedures. Keyboarding experience, 40 wpm preferred.
