Job Description
Capstone Health is seeking a travel nurse with expertise in oncology nursing to work at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This 13-week travel nursing assignment requires the candidate to possess strong skills in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide direct patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- 1 year of experience in hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, or medical oncology.
- 1 year of travel nursing experience and 2 years of registered nurse (RN) experience.
- Chemo certification as a registered nurse.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Flexibility to work every third weekend, with opportunities for day/night rotation or straight nights.
