Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and memory care. This role is vital in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of personal care, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Help with medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to prescribed health plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while providing care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not required.
