Home Health Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with clients who require assistance due to age, illness, or disability. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Perform vital sign checks and document health changes as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Skills

• Experience in group home settings or similar caregiving environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of dementia care techniques and approaches.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on assisting clients compassionately.
• Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining client dignity and respect at all times.
