Job Superintendent Assistant – New Home Construction

Capstone Homes is seeking a dedicated Job Superintendent Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting Job Superintendents and managers in all areas of residential construction of new homes. This role will support daily operational tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and to our highest quality standards. What You’ll Do:

· Complete daily tasks as directed by the job superintendent and managers.

· Assist in preparing construction sites, including setting up tools and equipment.

· Post specs, plans, checklists, city plans, permit cards, and front door signage.

· Loading or unloading construction materials that need to be transported and used at the site.

· Help with documentation.

· Support job superintendents and managers in scheduling and planning project tasks and timelines.

· Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers.

· Operate heavy and light equipment as required by the assignment.

· Enforce cleanliness, building, parking, and erosion standards and policies.

· Perform some specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training.

· Maintain all safety standards on site.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

· Strong understanding of safety regulations in construction.

· Capacity to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy loads and working at heights.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, maintaining diplomacy with diverse individuals.

· Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines.

· Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, with great attention to detail.

· Creative thinking and effective problem-solving skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

· The position primarily involves working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.

· Vision: Ability to see clearly at near, mid-range, and far distances, as well as the ability to accommodate different visual needs.

· Hearing: Ability to hear low, medium, and high-frequency sound

· Must possess physical abilities for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, walking in rough, uneven terrain, and reaching above and below the waist.

· Able to perform all job expectations safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

· Full-time employment, 40-55 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
