Capstone Investment Advisors, LLC seeks a Vice President, Software Engineer in New York, NY to design and develop complex graphical user interfaces (screens) for real-time financial applications.
Responsibilities and Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing, developing and documenting enterprise applications in Windows and Web platforms; project planning and executing development, enhancements, migration, and support of various sections and modules of application; collecting and understanding business requirements to develop application features and enhancements for real time applications; performing code and design review and analysis; maintaining servers for both application hosting and REST APIs; and in executing duties, utilizing C#, WPF, REST API, .Net Framework, ASP.Net, .Net Core, SciChart, Git, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Redis databases, Kafka message queue, N-tiers, Distributed System, Load Balancing (global and local), Token Based Security (authentication and validation), Micro Services and Reverse Proxy Concept. Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $179,982 - $200,000 USD. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
