Senior Project Manager (J-4436)
Location : Onsite; Brookfield, Wisconsin
Terms : 12-month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation : $60-$65 / hr.; $125K-$135K (Based on Experience)

Capstone IT is partnering with a leading financial technology solutions provider to hire a Senior Project Manager for a Contract-To-Hire position based ONSITE in Brookfield, WI. This role will be instrumental in leading large-scale client onboarding projects for print and digital solutions, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Candidates must have experience managing enterprise-wide projects with budgets of $10M and be comfortable handling complex, high-value initiatives.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, managing project teams, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires expertise in large-scale project execution, with a strong focus on cost forecasting and financial reporting. The PM will work closely with Business Analysts, technical teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of assigned projects. The ideal candidate should be highly adaptable, possess strong communication skills, and have a proactive, problem-solving mindset. They should also have experience in financial services, banking, or payment processing and demonstrate expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow PPM, and Smartsheet is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project budgets ($10M ), forecast costs, control expenses, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external clients, and executive leadership, providing clear and timely status updates.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure project execution aligns with financial regulations and industry best practices (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC).
- Lead project meetings, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
- Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to enhance future project performance.
- Guide and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
