About the Job
This exciting opportunity allows you to take on a leadership role in our warehouse operations team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates, ensuring safety and productivity, and making sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives
- Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities
- Create daily work logs and transmit them to corporate
- Audit daily labor and billing reports
- Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis
- Document and resolve any customer service or associate issues daily
- Ensure all associates follow Capstone policies and work rules, including Capstone safety work rules
- Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure associate participation
- Assist in managing site and departmental budgets
- Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements
- Interview, hire, and train new associates
- Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed
