Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Negotiate rates with common carriers to optimize pricing and service levels.
- Run the site with safety and efficiency as top priorities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Manage labor and billing reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis, resolving any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
- Proven ability to provide high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Experience training, coaching, and mentoring warehouse associates.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organization and prioritizing skills, with the ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
