What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Mining Operations Planner position at Capstone Mining?
Job Description
This role is responsible for producing daily and weekly mine and project plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations, including drill-blast-load-haul open pit mining sequence. Experience with MineStar or similar fleet management system is also desired.
Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure all employees and contractors are working in compliance with all Pinto Valley Mine and MSHA safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with Company policies and procedures, federal and state regulations as well as local regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate and communicate plans with various stakeholders, including Mine Operations and other necessary departments.
- Create and communicate 24-hour mining plans.
- Analyze daily mining progress and report on key performance indicators.
