Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property’s outdoor spaces. This includes landscaping, lawn care, and minor maintenance to ensure a well-kept and visually appealing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the grounds, building common areas, and exterior of the building.
- Perform routine landscaping tasks.
- Maintain flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements.
- Remove debris, leaves, snow, and ice as needed to keep walkways, driveways, and common areas safe.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
- Repair and maintain sidewalks, fences, benches, and other outdoor structures as needed
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or property damage.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as required.
- Assist as needed in removing all trash and from the building.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in working within groundskeeping, or a related field preferred.
- Must have troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Must be a team player, we all must work together as we strive to provide the best service possible for our customers.
- Must have personal initiative when seeing a need for cleaning within the community.
- Must be punctual, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
