Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality at Capstone Precision Group. This position involves monitoring our products' quality against our tolerances, specifications, and requirements. The inspector uses inspection tools and equipment to audit products being produced or assembled, recording data using our Statistical Process Control system.
This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of basic data entry skills and be able to use mathematical calculations to identify any discrepancies in product quality.

Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, an individual must possess a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and have the ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, prints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Computer literacy is also essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Additionally, Lean Training and Yellow Belt certification are highly desirable.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include lifting 25 pounds from floor level to chest height, standing for three hours, kneeling, stooping, and bending continuously throughout a three-hour duration, reaching out and over equipment for short periods, and lifting hands above shoulder height multiple times throughout the ten-hour shift. Pushing and spreading material at waist height is also required.

- Follow all safety and HESS policies.
- Accurately identify materials and products.
- Use inspection tools to perform product and tooling measurements.
- Maintain daily written and SPC digital logs.
- Communicate with shift supervisors on nonconformance issues and general discussions.
