Job Overview
An expanding Athens real estate development and property management firm has available a full-time, year round position for a Landscaping and Property Maintenance Associate. Responsibilities will include leadership of mowing, plant selection, and overall maintenance and upkeep of residential and commercial grounds creating pride in the communities. Position would also assist senior forestry technician in forestry management practices as well as work with experienced craftsmen in the construction trades.
· Maintain building exteriors, amenities, and common areas by cleaning, detailing, pressure washing, painting, etc.
· Assist in overseeing all work associated with the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds.
· Assist in bringing beautiful and award-winning outdoor environments to life.
Some knowledge of installation and maintenance practices including pruning, weed control, lawn maintenance, plant installation, hardscape installation, etc. is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree trimming, groundskeeping, and irrigation techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and capability to perform manual labor tasks such as digging and lifting.
