Our client is seeking a best-in-class Cost Manager to join their growing Pittsburgh office, focusing on data center projects. This is not just a standard “Cost Manager” role—given the firm's early-stage expansion, there is a significant opportunity to join at a pivotal time and progress rapidly while working on cutting-edge projects.
Role Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day cost management of data center projects.
- Develop Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents in line with company standards.
- Manage administrative tasks related to Cost Meetings and project cost controls.
- Liaise with Contractors to review cost reports, track planned versus actual costs, assess changes and variations, and resolve disputes.
- Utilize and maintain cost management platforms to effectively communicate cost-related matters within a project.
- Work closely with Project Managers during construction phases, ensuring provisional sum schedules and CDP schedules are updated and shared with all stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly valuations, contribute to final account settlements, and handle change requests under appropriate guidance.
- Prepare required monthly reports and financial statements for internal and client review.
