FUNCTION : Manage Quality Assurance Departments. Make all final quality decisions regarding
products. Provide work direction, as needed, for Quality Associates and work on projects focused on
increasing the level of quality parts.

continuous improvement.
DUTIES :
- Develop, lead and manage Quality Assurance associates.
- Work to achieve Quality Performance & Delivery Awards from all customers.
- Monitor, track and report Cost of Poor Quality for your individual plant
- Effective use of continual improvements as drivers to reduce Cost of Poor Quality, increase
process efficiencies and promote customer satisfaction
Maintain Quality philosophy of 0-PPM quality and delivery to all customers.Serve as primary contact for customer related quality issues.Act as Plant Management Representative for IATF 16949.Responsible for assisting in compliance with all IATF 16949 elements.Responsible for training and re-training of associates in regard to IATF 16949 procedures.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all corporate quality procedures and processes and theimplementation of these on the local level.
Investigate new Quality procedures and processes to determine applicability and effectiveimplementation
Complete required Customer Quality Surveys.Attend customer seminars.Attend meetings with department managers to discuss current quality levels, establish qualitygoals, and identify current quality problems.
Submit requisitions for new equipment based on current and anticipated needs.Conduct and evaluate performance reviews for all associates in Quality in conjunction with thesupervisors in each department.
Support production goals of increased productivity, decreased cost, decreased scrap, etc.Advocate and support the ATD Environmental Management System (EMS)ATD Kronos Manager, approving overtime and time off (i.e. vacations, illnesses, etc) for qualityassociates
Be an active agent in the ACE suggestion program and ACE team program.Follow all applicable IATF 16949 policies, procedures and work instructions.Be present and on time daily.Generally, perform all other duties as requiredEducation / Experience / Training
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Manufacturing Experience 5 years
