Our Client is seeking an Audit and Tax Manager to join their Corporate Accounting, Trading Services group. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical, regulatory and tax accounting knowledge base. Audit experience in the finance industry at investment advisors with domestic and international presence is strongly desired. The candidate should also have a solid finance knowledge base with a sharp analytical mindset to complement their accounting experience.
About the Role - Maintain and administer accounting policies, procedures, and practices. Research, evaluate, and analyze GAAP, IFRS, regulatory, and tax matters relevant to the firm. Collaborate with Corporate Accounting team and auditors to complete year end audits for domestic and international entities. Manage quarterly and annual tax filings as well as regulatory filings as necessary. Support monthly finance and financial planning initiatives, as well as ad hoc projects. Collaborate with Corporate Accounting team on preparation of monthly financial statements.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree and CPA designation desired
- Strong analytical skills to effectively implement current and new accounting regulations and concepts to Corporate Accounting procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively and succinctly present relevant accounting issues and concepts to Corporate Accounting team and Management
- A team player with excellent project and time management skills
- This role requires that all employees commute into our Rowayton, CT office
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
