What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer-Santa Rosa position at Capstone Security, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control: Ensure secure access to the farm by verifying credentials, managing gate entries, and allowing entry only to authorized personnel.
Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols throughout the farm, including common areas, parking lots, and perimeter fences, to deter and detect any suspicious activities. (Note: Duties may change)
Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Provide first aid and support until emergency services arrive on the scene.
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to customers, visitors, and clients, enhancing their overall experience.
Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report all incidents, including observations, activities, and any unusual occurrences. Maintain detailed records of daily operations.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients and local law enforcement to ensure effective communication and coordination in security efforts.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to all security protocols, farm regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
Certifications:
- Valid BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit required.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred).
- Crisis Prevention & Intervention (preferred).
- Active Shooter training (preferred).
- Fire Safety & Response (preferred).
- Tactical Patrol (preferred).
- Executive/Personal Protection (preferred).
Experience:
Previous experience in law enforcement or the military is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to engage positively with employees, visitors, and clients.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be capable of handling potentially stressful situations and performing physical tasks related to the position.
