An established, global manufacturing organization is actively seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer for their flagship facility. Our client is the global leader in their space and have an outstanding culture predicated on compensation, benefits, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Industrial and Process Improvement initiatives in an effort to improve plant KPI's
- Participate in equipment specification, selection, layout and installation.
- Maintain list of equipment suppliers. Identify new suppliers and verify capabilities
- Support all departments within the manufacturing facility providing technical expertise and leadership.
- Develops and establishes best manufacturing practices, standards, processes, procedures and assures their effective implementation and on-going review.
- Evaluates equipment, operational sequences, and material flows to determine employee job functions and identify opportunities for automation
- Work to improve product quality, reduce scrap, and improved machine uptime by implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 2-5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
