POSITION OVERVIEW
- Senior Paint Process Engineer will be responsible to develop paint department personnel (robotic technicians, paint techs, etc.).
- Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities.
- Review paint control plan modifications.
- Establish and track performance criteria for paint department activities.
- Develop test procedures for paint procedures.
- Seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participate in APQP planning activities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associates (or Bachelors) Degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of automotive paint process experience.
- Extensive familiarity with (paint) robotics programming and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
