We are representing a globally recognized aerospace manufacturing based organization who is actively seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead their flagship $700M campus. This organization was recently named as a "TOP PLACES TO WORK" which is predicated on compensation, culture, and employee satisfaction. The Site Quality Director will report directly to the General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the General Manager while leading a department of (7) Engineers.
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
- Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
- Candidate will work to train and develop (2) Quality Leaders.
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for technical field)
- Candidate should have strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environment
- Experience with Metals environment preferred
Salary : $140,000 - $165,000
