What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Finance Director/Controller position at CapstoneONE Search?
We are representing an industry leading Fortune 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Site Finance Director/Controller due a recently announced transfer/promotion. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Site Finance Director/Controller will report to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the General Manager and will have a strong working relationship with the Vice President of Finance
- Responsible for leading department of 10 direct employees over $600M revenue campus
- Candidate will have accountability over the Cost and Reporting function
- Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
- Responsible for leading month end close process
- Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
- Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
- Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
- Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background (BOM, absorption/inventory levels, variance analysis)
- Experience leading month end close process
- Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource"
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
