About the Role
We seek a high-performing People Partner to join our People team, supporting our hourly teammates onsite at our pharmacy in Harlem. In this role, you’ll work closely with local pharmacy and operations leaders to support the development of a world-class employee experience at Capsule. This role will coach and support pharmacy and operations leaders on all talent, compliance, and people-related efforts across our operations. In addition, this individual will play a critical role in building and sustaining positive employee engagement through effective and efficient resolution of employee concerns, policy adherence, performance management, and other day-to-day people-related activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting managers and teammates on all people-related matters, including performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, conflict resolution, and interpretation of employment policies and practices.
Resolve second-tier issues that have been escalated by the People Operations team that requires sensitivity and judgment, effectively prioritizing multiple cases and escalating to People Team leadership and legal counsel when necessary.
Partnering with internal stakeholders to create, plan, and execute strategic projects and policy initiatives across the company to improve the teammate experience.
Identify areas where additional work may be needed to help simplify, automate, or align policy to company values and our operating principles.

Requirements:
This role is onsite at the Harlem pharmacy in New York City.
You have at least 2 years of experience in the People function, and your current role is preferably as an HR Generalist, Employee Relations specialist, or similar position.
Previous experience supporting hourly employees.
Experience in managing employee relations and conducting investigations.
Ability to handle competing priorities, use sound judgment to escalate when necessary, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong bias for action.
What We Offer
The starting anticipated earnings for this position are between $75,000 and $95,000. Compensation packages include base pay and benefits.
