About the Role
As a Per Diem Pharmacist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations
Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items
Requirements
You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
You hold a valid Pharmacist License in the State of employment
You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off
You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
You must be able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
