What are the responsibilities and job description for the MD & Sourcing Coordinator position at Captain Blue?
Purchasing
- Negotiate & purchase goods with vendors to find the right value and quality. Arranging the right quantity to order while following appropriate lead times.
- Develop strong communications with vendors to follow up with purchases or any buying terms
- Manage products' Gross Profit by analyzing the trends and issues and implementing appropriate actions
Inventory Management
- Create & confirm purchase orders and invoices while maintaining and managing item master data using SAP.
- Maintain cost/ gross margins by updating prices and items on SAP.
Vendor/Supplier Management
- Coordinate distribution and troubleshoot issues
- Communicate and assist stores with operational needs
- Perform regularly scheduled audits on product quality, sales, and profit margin
Data Analysis
- Create and review weekly sales data and other reports as needed.
- Coordinate development process and other projects by deadline.
