Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance:
- Provide skilled assistance to the dentist during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures and answering any questions.
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment needed for each procedure.
- Preparation and Sterilization:
- Set up and break down operatories before and after each patient.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to safety protocols.
- Patient Care and Education:
- Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor to ensure a positive experience.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Administrative Support:
- Accurately record and update patient health and treatment information in electronic dental records.
- Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and handling patient inquiries as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to the office’s success.

Requirements:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA, RDA, or equivalent preferred).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
