Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance:
• Provide skilled assistance to the dentist during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures and answering any questions.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment needed for each procedure.
• Preparation and Sterilization:
• Set up and break down operatories before and after each patient.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to safety protocols.
• Patient Care and Education:
• Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor to ensure a positive experience.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
• Administrative Support:
• Accurately record and update patient health and treatment information in electronic dental records.
• Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and handling patient inquiries as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to the office’s success.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA, RDA, or equivalent preferred).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
