What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Pool Attendant position at Captain Gosnold Village?
Summer Pool Attendant – Full Time – 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM – 3 to 4 days a week
CPR Certification and First Aid Certification will be required. If you do not have it, we will reimburse up to $75 for getting certified.

Position Summary:
The Pool Attendant/Qualified Swimmer position serves a variety of tasks that support the maintenance, operation, and cleanliness of the Captain Gosnold Village Pool. Reporting to the Pool Manager, the Attendant will work to ensure pool users have an enjoyable and safe experience and keep the pool area clean and organized and the equipment cared for.
Duties:
- Monitor individuals entering and leaving the pool area.
- Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
- Ensures safety equipment is present and in working order.
- Pool water testing (Training provided).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Dependable, Responsible, and Friendly.
- Ability to get CPR certified (you will be reimbursed up to $75 for getting certified).
- Ability to swim two lengths of the pool and retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool.
- Familiarity with first aid.
- High School Education (some HS education required).
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Start time will be around 10am or 11am. End time will be around 5pm, 6pm or 7pm. Depending upon your availability.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
