Liquor Store Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations, ensure excellent customer experiences, and help lead our team. The ideal candidate will have retail or management experience, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of retail sales workers
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
- Perform cash register operations and maintaining check out.
- Perform stock duties and display- building.
- Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments
- Ability to work evening, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to stand and/ or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds
- Must have good knowledge of Wines, Beers, Spirits and Cigars
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- College Associates Degree
- BS in Business or related field is a plus
