Job Description
Specific responsibilities for the Sr. Change Management Consultant position include:
Focus on the "people side of change," including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies.
Quickly become familiar with client business challenges and technologies to understand the environment for change and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders while leading change.
Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive change management strategies to support complex change initiatives. Strategies to include communication, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, learning and development, and measurement.
Conduct change impact and readiness assessments.
Draft communications with clear, concise messaging appropriate to the stakeholder group(s).Monitor and evaluate change tactic effectiveness.
Coach the client sponsor to effectively lead their organization through change, building tactical sponsorship plans and messaging for them to use.
Lead organizational design, identifying the optimal organizational structure, grouping functions, defining jobs, and determining headcount
Lead an organizational change management team, delegating work, ensuring deliverable quality, balancing workload across team, and mentoring junior team members.
Develop and implement learning strategies, creating approaches that follow adult learning best practices, and include alternatives to classroom training like e-learning, video, and self-directed methods.
Conduct train the trainer and deliver end user training as appropriate.
Qualifications
Specific qualifications for the Sr. Change Management Consultant position include:
10 years experience delivering enterprise-scale change management within large organizations.
Demonstrated progression and growth within the OCM discipline through past career experiences.
Proven ability to produce and own high quality deliverables that meet client needs, including strategic communications and training materials.
Knowledge and application of PROSCI and other change management methodologies and tools.
CCMP or PROSCI certifications or equivalent similar preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication that is effective to all levels in an organization.
