Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Installation Crew Leader to oversee our landscaping projects and ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for outdoor work, and a comprehensive understanding of landscape installation practices. This role involves supervising a team of landscaper installers, managing daily operations, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members in various projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Plan, execute, and oversee landscape maintenance tasks including following site plans, hardscape installation, plantings, and groundskeeping.
- Coordinate irrigation systems installation and maintenance to ensure optimal plant health.
- Knowledge and experience with heavy equipment
- Train crew members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain equipment in good working order; report any repairs needed to management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on landscape installation.
- Ability to follow site plans and implementation
- Valid Driver's License and SSN/iTIN
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, irrigation systems, tree care, and garden maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
