What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot-Second in Command position at CaptiveAire?
- Part 91 Challenger 350 SIC Pilot position available based in the Raleigh NC area (LHZ).
- This position will work as part of our flight crew.
- The pilot will be SIC with potential for PIC in the future.
- Must have 1500 hours total flight time, including 500 hours turbojet.
- CL30 type rating required
Must be able to:
- Be out of town for extended periods of time. Typical trips are 3-5 days out of town per week with occasional 7 day trips
- Work weekends, holidays and nights on occasion.
- Perform occasional trips on short notice.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a pilot.
- Become familiar with the mission requirements - destination, alternate or diversion airports, actual and forecast meteorological conditions, fuel requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
- Ensure completion of pre- and post-flight inspection of the aircraft before and after each mission according to company procedures
- Consistently demonstrate a can-do attitude by focusing on meeting/exceeding passenger's needs
- Possess working knowledge of aircraft systems.
- Understand how pilot and aircraft actions affect the passenger's mission accomplishment.
- Communicate effectively and routinely with CaptiveAire Management.
- Work together with PIC to alleviate potential issues with aircraft, weather, or other issues that may compromise the mission.
- Anticipated annual flight time: 200 hours
