WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking a Senior Associate on our Governance, Risk & Compliance IT team, if you are seeking a meaningful risk management career, want to grow professionally with the opportunity for advancement, this position is your next step. The GRC Senior Associate will assist in coordinating and contributing to various aspects of the CAPTRUST’s Information Security Program as it relates to IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance. This role will contribute towards supplier due diligence, business continuity testing and other risk-management activities.
Responsibilities
- Take initiative and deliver results on assigned risk management activities (risk identification, assessment, risk response, and proper documentation)
- Assist with the coordination of the Firm’s Supplier Due Diligence Program
- Assist with and Participate in Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Testing
- Assist with CAPTRUST’s Phishing & Training Campaigns
- Assist with Onboarding and Annual Cybersecurity Training implementation
- Aspire to manage larger projects and responsibilities
- Creatively Contribute to the Advancement of CAPTRUST’s GRC ProgramOther work as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in IT, Auditing or analytical-based curriculum (e.g. Accounting)
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Prior GRC or Risk Managment Experience
CRISC, CGEIT, Security , other relevant certifications (or willing to sit for certification within 12 months of employment)
Visionary thinking with execution ability
Focused, organized, and productive amid multiple priorities
Strong drive to learn and grow in risk management
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to relate technology to business terms
Professional-level writing skills
