Location: Salt Lake City, UT (candidate is expected to primarily work at our downtown location)

Job Overview: As a Market Associate you will be responsible for providing Caputo’s Legendary Customer Service to every guest that comes in the door as well as assisting in the day to day operation of the Market.

Primary Responsibilities:

• One on one customer service including helping with product questions and cutting meats/cheeses to order
• Daily stocking and facing of the market shelves
• Daily register duties: ringing customers up with a pleasant and polite demeanor
• Opening and/or closing Market duties: Daily sweeping, mopping and tidying up the store before opening and after closing (and throughout the day as necessary)
• Assisting other departments with ancillary needs & tasks as necessary
• Following directions to complete both routine and incidental tasks

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and highly accountable
• Works well in a team environment and is positive and enthusiastic
• High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technologically proficient and able to use and learn computer software
• Operates in a level and consistent manner
• Is proactive, persistent and driven to execution
• Takes direction well while being able to self-direct
• Cheese knowledge is not required
• Experience in kitchens and customer service preferred
• Weekend availability strongly preferred
