What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Capybara Coffee?
Capybara Coffee is a small local Specialty Coffee Shop that focuses on high quality and consistent drinks served in a friendly and professional manner.
We are looking for dynamic, friendly baristas that can give excellent customer service, following our standards of crafting and serving coffee and tea drinks. Training is paid and done in house. Open position is for afternoon/closing shift and weekend shifts. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer who values diversity and inclusion.
The job includes, but is not limited to: welcoming customers, taking orders, crafting drinks, engaging on specialty coffee conversations, cleaning, sanitizing and organizing. It requires being able to stand for periods of up to eight hours and the ability to lift boxes up to 25lbs.
Additionally to the hourly pay and tips, you also have a flexible schedule and free coffee daily, all in a fun environment!
