What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Car Central auto sales & service?
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
- Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of all sales.
- Enforces the company’s 5-step sales process.
- Conducts daily meetings with sales staff and other managers within the department.
- Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profit, expenses, and operating profit.
- Monitors salesperson’s productivity and performance.
- Conducts semi-annual performance reviews for each member of the sales department.
- Assists in acquiring the used vehicle inventory while striving for a 60-day turn in the used car inventory.
- Displays, merchandise, and promote used vehicles.
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential and develops sales campaigns/advertising to accommodate the dealership's goals.
- Serves as liaison between the sales department and other departments.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attend management meetings as requested.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
