The current schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday starting at 7am (10 hour days / 4 days a week). Flexible to work overtime as needed.
Special features of being an Automotive Detailer:
Special features of being an Automotive Detailer:
- Cleaning and servicing of various vehicles; prep, interior, exterior, and/or touch up and small repair.
- Knowledge of automobiles surfaces and products ensuring appropriate use of chemicals and techniques that are approved for use on each surface type.
- Conduct carpet extraction and dying; using scrapers, brushes, cloths, cleaners, disinfectants, acid, abrasives, vacuums or hoses, headlight restoration, and buff (wheel polish) vehicles as needed.
- Clean windows, apply dressings, apply/remove decals, and quality inspections as needed.
- Maintain a high level of safety for our personnel and facility.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage.
- Facility cleaning to insure a clean and safe work area when working on vehicles.
- Drive vehicles to and from workshops or lots.
- Other duties as assigned to conduct business.
Auto Detailer Requirements/Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid MI driver's license and a good driving record (able to drive Company vehicles).
- Full-time availability starting at 7am (currently working four 10-hour work days Mon-Thurs) with overtime as needed.
- Previous experience (preferred) or relative cleaning experience.
- Self-motivated and hard-work ethic.
- Provide a high degree of customer service in dealings with internal and external contacts.
- High degree of physical mobility to clean vehicles inside and out.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs., climb ladders, bend/move in small areas, and hold pole overhead for vehicle washing.
- Team player and strong attention to detail.
Wage: $15.50 per hour, non-exempt
& Team Bonus Potential (current potential of up to $300 per bi-weekly paycheck)
