Business Development / Call Center Representative
Hybrid Position
Business Development / Call Center Representatives while working remote from home and at the Car City 28th Street location are responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, as well as setting and confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow-up on all unsold customers (e.g., internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls).
Business Development / Call Center Representative Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or text).
- Manage Internet sales leads, phone leads and chat leads.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the Sales staff and other designated personnel.
- Follow up on electronic applications.
- Handle all incoming calls and route to correct departments.
- Assist other departments when needed and other duties as assigned to conduct business.
Essential Functions / Requirements:
- Customer service experience (call center a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Full-time availability, 40 hours Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-8pm with 2 Saturdays per month from 9am-3pm. Ability to work from home remotely 2 days per week after successful completion of training with a set 40-hour weekly schedule and overtime as needed unless the needs of the business change. Remaining days in-office at our Car City 28th Street location and as needed based on business needs.
- Adhere and abide by Company hybrid / remote work requirements and expectations for this position.
- Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn processes and systems while using dual monitors.
- Physical requirement: sit for extended periods of time while typing on the computer and doing phone work.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while paying strict attention to detail.
- Ability to persuade and influence others including encouraging and motivating staff.
- Self-motivated with goal orientation to work well as a team or individually.
- Ability to overcome objections with ease and get through required work list/tasks/assignments as expected.
- Adhere to compliance requirements and complete training as necessary.
