U-Haul Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Location: Hopkinsville, KY
Salary: $12-/$15 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

U-Haul is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to assist customers with truck and trailer rentals, coordinate vehicle dispatching, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in person and over the phone, assisting them with truck, trailer, and equipment rentals.
• Process rental reservations, check-in/check-out vehicles, and verify customer information.
• Coordinate vehicle dispatching and returns to ensure efficient fleet management.
• Assist customers with roadside assistance inquiries and provide solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental office and lot.
• Upsell and recommend additional U-Haul products and services.
• Monitor and manage inventory of vehicles and equipment.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and work to resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness for customers.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service or dispatch experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate rental management software.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
