Job Summary
The Automotive Accounting Clerk will be responsible for daily credit card batch processing and posting, as well as weekly posting of credit card charges and processing of accounts payable payments. This role also involves monthly bank account reconciliations, vendor statements, and credit card reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily credit card batches and post transactions
- Post weekly credit card charges
- Process weekly accounts payable payments
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts
- Generate monthly vendor statements and credit card reconciliations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. A background in accounting and automotive is preferred.
