Job Description
Shipping Associates Supervisor works in the shipping and receiving department of our company. They work alongside their crew, pulling and filling orders for our customers, and make sure the warehouse is clean and organized. The Supervisor is a back up/2nd for the Shipping Manager at our Perry location. Pay is based in experience and fit.
Essential Functions of a Shipper:
- Shipper receives pulled product with pick ticket and verifies that the correct product was pulled
- If you do not have all product to be shipped, you must notify team lead or manager
- Shipper will then pack product, place magnet in box and packing slip to be shipped
- Shipper will review and print mailing label to place on package to be delivered
- Ship all orders with 100% accuracy
- Shippers who handle placing packages in FedEx, UPS, ETC trucks must make sure packages are on the correct trucks
- All shipping areas should be stocked daily with boxes, airbags and tape
Job responsibilities:
- Accountability for 2nd shift and closing warehouse, 9pm
- Attention to detail is a must
- Basic computer knowledge is a plus
- Pull and stock products accurately and timely
- Strive for 100% accuracy on all pulled orders
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload which includes bending, twisting and lift up to 50 pounds continuously
- MUST have a Team Work Attitude!
