- Responsible for maintaining a working environment focused on customer satisfaction.
- Identify and promptly resolve customer concerns and complaints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facility Manager-on-Duty (MOD) in absence of General Manager
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and promptly resolve customer concerns and complaints
- Ensure car wash quality standards
- Manage overall vehicle flow and production in car wash operation
- Ensure car wash compliance with all OSHA and EPA standards
- Conduct on-going safety training and meetings
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Maintain and inspect car wash equipment
- Manage inventory of chemicals, towels, etc.
- Recruit and hire car wash staff
- Train all car wash employees according to the Car Spa certification process
- Assess performance and skills of car care specialists
- Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed to maintain employee standards and improve performance.
- Schedule car wash employees / manage payroll budget and time clock
- Achieve profitability goal (i.e., average ticket, volume, production)
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Perform all essential duties and responsibilities as outlined on the job descriptions for the all car wash employees
Working Conditions:
- All work is done outdoors in all types of weather.
- Safety is a prime concern due to the constant traffic movement. You must be alert and move safely around moving vehicles.
- You are required to enter and/or reach all areas of any type vehicle. You must constantly bend, reach, stoop and stretch. You must be able to step up into and down out of vehicles.
Qualifications:
Mandatory
- Car Wash management experience or equivalent
- Basic Management competencies outlined by Car Spa
