As a Car Wash Assistant Manager, you will be a key driver in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience while supporting and managing the staff. This role combines hands-on customer service with team leadership, performance development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive, customer-focused atmosphere, fostering a welcoming environment for all clients.
- Resolve customer issues quickly, ensuring complete satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and supervise staff in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Develop employees through training and feedback to maximize their potential and create a strong, capable team.
- Ensure all staff are knowledgeable and compliant with Car Spa policies and procedures.
- Communicate company updates, policy changes, and other relevant information to staff efficiently.
- Enforce Car Spa's policies and procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
Operational Efficiency:
- Assist in achieving ticket goals and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective time and manpower management to meet business needs.
- Contribute to the opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately.
- Handle end-of-shift deposits and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- This position is eligible for bonus every 4-week period!
Work Environment & Safety:
- Perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions, maintaining a positive attitude regardless of environment.
- Prioritize safety in a high-traffic area, remaining alert and mindful of vehicle movements.
- Maintain flexibility and physical capability to work in all areas of any vehicle, including bending, stretching, and stepping in and out of vehicles.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Prior experience in car wash management or a similar leadership role in the service industry.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage, train, and develop staff.
- Ability to resolve customer issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic outdoor environment.
