      Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for organization and customer service? Our established downtown Mt. Clemens CPA firm is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to provide essential support to our accounting staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals and serve a diverse client base in a dynamic and welcoming environment.

      Key Responsibilities

    • Process tax returns , payroll tax returns , financial statements , and other critical documents with precision and efficiency.
    • Manage day-to-day office operations, including :
    • Handling and professionally routing incoming calls.

    • Greeting clients and providing a warm and welcoming experience.
    • Typing, filing, and ensuring all documentation is organized and accurate.
    • Take on other administrative tasks and projects as needed to support the team.
    • What We're Looking For

    • A positive attitude paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Adaptability to handle shifting priorities and tasks as they arise.
    • Impeccable attention to detail and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
    • The ability to troubleshoot unique situations and effectively communicate updates to the team.
    • A self-starter who works well independently and contributes positively to a collaborative office culture.
    • Qualifications

    • High school diploma / GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferred
    • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
    • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
    • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
