What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONFERENCE MANAGER position at Carahsoft?
Overall Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver compelling event packages, focusing on maximizing client satisfaction.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events oversee the planning and execution of logistics and operations for private meetings, conferences, and events.
- Manage event operations includes facility selection, contracting, pricing, transportation, accommodations, food and beverage choices, and audio / visual service arrangements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, computers and software, interpersonal skills, and product knowledge.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent service across all teams and clients
