To support our expanding decorating needs, we’re excited to introduce a new position: Decorator Assistant. This role will be dynamic and evolve as our bakery grows, offering the right candidate the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a creative and supportive team.
Position Overview:
As a Decorator Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our decorators by preparing tinted icings, organizing decorating tools and supplies for each order, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn as the position develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and prepare buttercream and other icings in various colors, following recipes and decorators' instructions.
- Organize and prepare decorating tools, supplies, and equipment for each order.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all decorating tools and equipment.
- Assist with basic decorating tasks as directed by decorators.
- Restock supplies and ensure the decorating station is well-organized.
- Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the position evolves.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all orders are completed to high-quality standards and on time.

- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is a plus but not required – we’re happy to train the right person!
